These are not just basic water pump pliers, but the KNIPEX *Cobra*. You could call it the queen of water pump pliers, and it's a real high-tech tool. The Cobra is grey atramentised, with a polished head and handles with non-slip plastic coating. Essentially, it's the original KNIPEX in miniature - just 125 mm long.
With the KNIPEX *Cobra* you don't have to waste time trying out how wide you need to open the jaws. Insead, you simply apply the upper jaw to the workpiece, press the button and press the lower jaw into position. And it fits!
- Fine adjustment for optimal adaptation to different component sizes plus comfortable gripping position.
- Self-locking on pipes/tubes and nuts: no slipping and less effort.
- Gripping surfaces with specially hardened teeth (approx. 61 HRC): high wear resistance means no loss of gripping power.
- For pipes/tubes up to 27 mm dia.
- Box joint: double guidance for high strength
- Secure engagement of the hinge pin means no unintentional adjustment.
