The vice jaws are the most stressed component of the vice. This is where the workpiece is clamped and machined. Strong damages occur by hammer blows as well as cut marks by sawing and grinding work. But also on workpieces with sensitive surfaces, as well as thin-walled tubes, unattractive impressions of the roughened original clamping jaws often occur.
The protective jaws from BGS create relief and protect both the vice clamping jaw area and the clamped workpiece from damage. Protective jaws made of aluminium have a smooth and soft clamping surface, so that even more sensitive workpieces can be clamped gently in the vice.

Water and salt encourage corrosion. After cleaning (e.g. with Procycle Special Gel Cleaner, Order no. 10004909), we recommend regularly polishing aluminium parts with standard aluminium polish (e.g. Alu-Magic, Order no. 10004031).
