Old screwdriver rule: "Tighten until it comes off!" However, if the connection is too loose, unpleasant surprises can also occur. It is therefore better to follow the torque values specified by the manufacturers for tightening screw connections. The high-quality Rothewald torque wrenches will help you do this. These wrenches comply with the calibration certificate according to DIN ISO 6789-1:2017 and cover all common NM ranges on motorbikes. Never again risk breaking off a screw or shearing a spark plug. With a Rothewald torque wrench, you're on the safe side!
All wrenches have a clear scale in Newton metres and ftlb. The twist handles are infinitely adjustable and have a quick-locking mechanism. The ratchet head with reversible right/left rotation (torque only in right rotation) is particularly narrow and small, so you can easily reach even remote screws and nuts. The precise short-stroke release (+/- 4%) triggers reliably and audibly when the set torque is reached.
