TRW rear lowering kits:
- With the help of TRW rear lowering kits, even full-size sports and touring motorcycles can be lowered to a seat height compatible with short legs using simple means and at low cost.
- To do this, the lower linkage of the shock absorber is modified using two triangles, two push rods, or a spacer made of special coated steel. Which variant is suitable depends on the specific motorbike in question, but all versions have one thing in common: despite the seat height being reduced by a full 30 to 50 mm in some cases, the full working range of the central shock absorber is retained.
- The rear lowering kits are made of high-strength Stainless steel or CNC-milled Aluminium.
- An ABE valid for Germany (no registration required) and installation instructions are of course included. Made in Germany.

Accessories with ABE do not have to be entered in the vehicle documents. However, if you do not want to carry the certificate with you at all times, you can, for example, have an inspection center make an entry (for a fee) upon request.
If the accessory is to be used on a vehicle that is not listed in the ABE, individual approval is required.

To ensure that it gives you many years of service, please observe the following care instructions:
1. After installing the product, and each time you wash your motorbike, apply a wax-based care product, e.g. Procycle Polishing Wax, Order no. 10004923 for protection against wind and weather. You may need to repeat the application after an outing in winter weather, rain or salty air (near the coast).
2. Remove any corrosion as soon as possible using a standard aluminium polish (e.g. Autosol Aluminium Polish, Order no. 10004421).
