Good to know:
Your breathable shoes are windproof and waterproof. However, the boots are only breathable if you’re wearing performance socks. While cotton socks trap moisture, performance socks wick sweat and moisture away from your feet into the shoe. There, the breathable shoe membrane takes over and completely transports the moisture out of the shoe. This is how breathability is achieved.
