SureShift gear indicator with shift light
Knowing which gear you are in is always useful, and not just on the race track. With this instrument you can select the right gear with confidence as you approach a bend. It also puts an end to "gear searching".
The integrated shift light is also a useful accessory that has now made the transition from motor racing to street motorcycles. It is used to determine the optimum engine speed for a gear change, or as a warning of the maximum permitted engine speed.
The device is connected to the ignition box or ignition coil, or to the original electronic speedometer sensor. If there is no sensor, or if it is not compatible (e.g. a Hall generator, or if the signal voltage is less than +5V), a suitable speedometer sensor kit is included.

To ensure that it gives you many years of service, please observe the following care instructions:
1. After installing the product, and each time you wash your motorbike, apply a wax-based care product, e.g. Procycle Polishing Wax, Order no. 10004923 for protection against wind and weather. You may need to repeat the application after an outing in winter weather, rain or salty air (near the coast).
2. Remove any corrosion as soon as possible using a standard aluminium polish (e.g. Autosol Aluminium Polish, Order no. 10004421).
