Sat navs, smart phones, cameras, tablets and other mobile devices all need to be mounted on your motorbike (or other vehicle) sooner or later. And once mounted, they must still be fully functional and all the controls easy to reach. RAM Mounts have taken on this challenge and developed a modular system with a wide range of products for precisely this purpose. This set comprises the Ram Mounts Motorcycle Mount with X-Grip Universal Cradle for large smartphones, a ball for the steering head, a medium Double Socket Arm and a B-ball (1 inch) plus hex socket steering head bolts. All Ram Mounts products feature outstanding design, limitless flexibility, high-quality materials and a life-long warranty.
The following steering head bolts are included:
M8 x 55 mm
M8 x 60 mm
M8 x 65 mm
To check that the mount is compatible with your motorcycle, measure the diameter of your steering head bolt and add 30 mm to the length. If this measurement matches one of the three lengths of the bolt supplied, you can use this bolt. Always apply the right torque when fitting the mount.
Suitable smartphone dimensions:
Minimum device width: 1.88in / 4.78cm
Minimum height for minimum device width: 5.50in / 13.97cm
Maximum device width: 4.50in / 11.43cm
Minimum height at maximum unit width: 3.25in / 8.26cm
