Fork sealing ring sets:
Contaminants and insects that cling to the stanchions can damage the fork sealing rings over time. The result: dangerous oil leaks and poor damping. Replace leaking rings with new ones in good time. Each set contains two branded fork sealing rings for replacement on the fork stanchion.
Caution: If your fork stanchions are visibly uneven (e.g., small rust spots or stone chip marks), smooth these out as much as possible with chrome polish or a polishing cloth, or replace the fork stanchions, because even a small amount of unevenness can damage the new sealing ring again in a short time and cause oil leakages. Always fit the sealing rings with a lightly greased sealing lip.
